Vivici joins Food Fermentation Europe

Deflt, Netherlands – 5th September 2023 - Vivici is excited to announce its membership in Food Fermentation Europe, an industry alliance acting as the unified voice representing the fermentation food and food ingredient sector.  

Food Fermentation Europe is focused on pursuing an expeditious development and rollout of innovative fermentation technology and products to enable more sustainable food systems in Europe, through three objectives:

1. To raise awareness and build a supportive, forward-looking policy framework for fermentation food and food ingredients in Europe.

2. To advocate for a predictable, non-discriminatory, and market-based regulatory framework for fermentation food and food ingredients in order to enable fair competition among market players.

3. To act as a centre of expertise to inform policymakers and stakeholders about the importance of the sector and work in partnership with stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to more sustainable food systems.

Members within Food Fermentation Europe include Better Dairy, Formo, Imagindairy, OnegoBio, Standing Ovation, Bon Vivant and Those Vegan Cowboys.

Vivici’s CEO Stephan van Sint Fiet commented on the announcement,

Food Fermentation Europe President and Better Dairy CEO Jevan Nagarajah also commented,
